Onyx M3 partnership: industrial telemetry joins the offering
ConsulTLP and Onyx M3 are expanding their partnership. The new offering answers a problem few solutions cover: instrumenting any piece of equipment — fixed or mobile, any brand — right out to remote sites with no cellular coverage.
Anything that consumes can be measured, fixed machines as well as mobile ones. The manufacturer does not need to offer a portal, and the site does not need to be connected to a network. The measurement travels by satellite or cellular, and the whole fleet lands on a single dashboard.
What it changes for a manager: raw data becomes a total cost of use — energy, labour and maintenance together, machine by machine. Instead of debating one global bill at month end, you know what each piece of equipment actually costs to run — and you decide.
The gain does not stop at energy. Idling hours pile up on the meter and trigger maintenance earlier than needed. Knowing real hours, load factor and fault codes means planning maintenance on actual use rather than the calendar, and catching a drift before it becomes a breakdown.
